Ricardo Viegas

Ricardo Viegas was born in Faro, Algarve, Portugal, in 1980, and teaches Yoga since 2005. His training in Yoga is certified by Federação Portuguesa de Yoga, IAPIPSY – Instituto Autónomo de Professores e Instrutores de Svatantrya Yoga, and Aliança do Yoga do Brasil. Through this ancient existencial point of view that is Yoga he was introduced to the true knowledge on the nature of the Self. Through intensive training, yoguic retreats, and workshops, he learned the tradition of Yoga with teachers that are a true inspiration for him: he learned with yoguis such as Simão Monteiro, Edson Moreira, Vanderléa Jovino, Miguel Homem, Girish Patel, Cláudia Villadelprat, Danny Paradise, Tomás Zorzo, and today he is totally thankful for the priviledge of learning with Pedro Kupfer, who highly contributed to clear his vision about the tradition of teaching Traditional Hatha Yoga through the light of Vedanta, as taught by his guru Swami Dayananda Saraswati.

Ricardo is located in Faro, Algarve, and has regular classes through all the region. He runs the blog YOGALGARVE at www.yogalgarve.blogspot.com.
